Anti-wrinkle injections
Anti-wrinkle injections act as a muscle relaxant by injecting a natural protein that relaxes the specific muscle/s being treated, therefore preventing muscles from contracting, reducing repetitive movement which can change the texture of the skin and lead to fine lines and wrinkles.
Anti-wrinkle injections provide a way to reduce constriction, tension, smooth the skin, and allow graceful ageing. Full results after treatment can be seen within 4 to 14 days, and are effective for a few weeks to months depending on the individual and area treated. Anti-wrinkle injections do not provide a permanent solution as your body slowly metabolises the medication, therefore, further treatments are required to maintain effective results. Results are also not reversible, but do fade over time.
Regular anti-wrinkle treatments will improve the longevity of results allowing results to last longer and therefore extending time between each treatment
Common treatment areas include the frown lines, forehead lines, ‘crows feet’ around the eyes. However, anti-wrinkle treatment can also be used to treat ‘gummy smiles’ that show a larger amount of gum than desired, turned down smiles, enlarging the top lip, jaw slimming and teeth grinding.
Anti-wrinkle Prices
The price of anti-wrinkle treatments will vary between each individual and treatment.
The price will be calculated based on the area being treated, the muscle strength and the desired outcome. Generally males will require a higher dose than females due to greater muscle mass and a higher dose of medication required.

Dermal Filler
Injectable hyaluronic acid is a type of temporary dermal filler that can be used to restore volume to different areas of the face. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring molecule found throughout the body, with the highest concentrations in the skin. Hyaluronic acid attracts and holds water, which assist with skin hydration.
As we age, body’s natural production of hyaluronic acid diminishes, and the muscles, fat, bone, and skin in our face begins to reduce and thin. Hyaluronic dermal fillers can provide hydration, structure and volume, smooth skin, and create a fresh, youthful appearance to the face and lips.
Effects of injectable hyaluronic acid are seen immediately and can last anywhere from 4 months up to 2 years, depending on the brand and range used, and the location it is placed. There are a variety of dermal fillers currently available in Australia, each with their own unique characteristics. Characteristics such as the consistency and thickness of the product, the level of skin in which they are injected, and the longevity after treatment. All, however, made form the same basic compound.
Different dermal fillers may be more appropriate for different areas of the face, some attract water and aid in skin hydration where others are thicker and best for volume replacement. Hyaluronic acid injections are not permanent, and can be immediately reversed if required.
Dermal Filler Prices
The price of dermal filler treatments vary depending on the type of filler, how much is used, and the treatment area.
Each dermal filler is uniquely formulated to have a certain texture, density, and injection depth. Certain fillers work better for different areas. For example softer fillers are best for lip treatments and firmer fillers are best for cheek, chin, and jawline treatments.
The appropriate dermal filler will be selected for the treatment area during your consultation. It is difficult to provide an accurate quote without a consultation in person.
